The pet did not have to be placed in the cargo hold, as per United’s own pet policy:

did no one else help challenged this when it first happened? Why wasn’t this pet in the cargo hold?

It seems to me that with their history of hilariously floaty malaise-mobiles, they’re in a unique position to capitalize on poor infrastructure with a combination of huge balloon tires and soft suspension.

I’m letting the “not an assault rifle” argument slide (it is an assault rifle) because I agree with everything else you said. To 95% of people, a weapon is an assault rifle if it (A) a rifle and (B) designed to kill people specifically.

Looks good, but not $25k good. Also too many small, easily-fixable problems to inspire confidence in the sellers maintenance. Who doesn’t test the A/C for Pete’s sake, unless he’s afraid of what he might find, or knows, but is going for plausible deniability? CP
