He can actually proclaim White History Month now. Bannon will make sure to add it to the calendar.

If one of my college students submitted this to me as his informative essay, it would get a D-. And that would be being generous. Nothing in that approaches a coherent thought.

Oddly, from all of that bullshit, this is my favourite part:

I love how the four “museum” black people he mentioned are the examples a 3rd grader could give of black history: MLK, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, and Rosa Parks.

He didn’t say he had several black friends. He named them. All three of them.

After the way the Trump Administration bungled the Holocaust Remembrance Day remarks, I fully expect his Black History Month remarks to focus on how everybody suffered during slavery, and we should also remember the slaveholders, who lost a lot of wealth when their property was emancipated.

One of the things I loved about Seth Meyer’s coverage of the election was that he would read a transcript of what Trump said instead of just playing the clip, to show how fucking crazy his speeches are.

But I don’t watch CNN, so I don’t get to see you as much as I used to. I don’t like watching fake news. But Fox has treated me very nice. Wherever Fox is, thank you.

Cannot WAIT for him to refer to a Black foreign head of state as an African American.

Let’s be honest, he wanted to say “when is white history month?” and “I have several black friends!”

I almost want to give him credit for not referring to black people as “the blacks”

I like how what is surely the one and only Black History Month event he’ll be doing is on the morning of February 1st. May as well check that box off as quickly as possible so as to not have to think about it again for another year.

Just a few notes. During this month, we honor the tremendous history of African-Americans throughout our country. Throughout the world, if you really think about it, right?
