Bravo!
Bravo!
Being chicano and growing up eating our own Mexican foods here in the U.S., my cousins and I would always joke “I love ethnic food” when going to eat at Golden Corral or Furr’s Cafeteria.
Lot of chafe here. I am a former smoker who switched to Juul and it’s made a huge difference in my life (and not just because I don’t smell like smoke anymore).
Thank you for this. I went from smoking 2 packs of Newport 100's a day to vaping only, juice at 0.3 nicotine levels (the lowest next to zero). Yeah, I still vape, but it is no where near as damaging as the smoking was. From the day I made the switch, I haven’t picked up a cigarette. My sister did the same, and has…
My teenager says that Vaping isn’t cool anymore. That it’s so last year. lol
So apparently the teens are over it and onto whatever the next thing is now (hopefully hating Trump).
This is America, we have to extend the War on Drugs because it has gone swimmingly well so far.
VAPING IS HELPING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE QUIT SMOKING LET’S NOT FORGET THIS. I’ll quote this again:
The issue is a huge amount of the people who got sick were using black market cartridges with unknown substances in them, mixed with THC. The stuff you get at a grocery store or gas station isnt making the vapers sick
Smoke if you want to smoke, vape if you want to vape (outdoors), but please don’t try and sell nicotine as the world’s most efficient multi-vitamin.
Want to know something shocking? legal adults also like fruity fun flavors.
As much as cancer sticks. Not more than. Why are flavored cigarettes, cigars, and alcohol still allowable?
“Think of the children” doesn’t really hold water when we don’t do anything about fruity alcohol that’s meant for kids/young people, in my opinion. Kids aren’t supposed to be able to buy nicotine/tobacco, but they do. They aren’t supposed to be able to buy alcohol, and yet almost 5,000 underage folks die every year…
To be fair, I have known a few people who successfully quit cigarettes after transitioning to vaping. The difference, though, is that they didn’t keep vaping. They used vaping to transition away from smoking completely and now abstain from both which is surely a lot healthier than replacing one form of addiction with…
It’s likely the 20% that didn’t report THC use are probably lying about it. The fact that that the overwhelming majority of illnesses is coming from THC vapes in states with no legal means of obtaining THC is a huge tell with this story. I agree with Esther’s premise that banning all forms of vaping is just going to…
Did no one smoke in high school and middle school where you’re from?
Plural of anecdote is not “data.”
Maybe, but not clear they had any intention of returning within bounds of recess or even the school day. Who among us hasn’t decided school was over for the day at lunch time and just didn’t go back?
CIA is already recruiting them
These kids showed initiative, planning, a good sense of direction, problem solving, teamwork and street smarts.
This is what I do if I’m paying cash; stand patiently in as open a spot as I can get to with money in my hand and try to make eye contact. I don’t wave it around like an asshole, but if they spot the money in my hand they know I’m not just standing there for no reason. It doesn’t always make a difference and…
