Oh god. You don’t want my advice. My advice would be to fucking run away from sustainability in manufacturing. The companies who are interested in it are few and far between and the companies who aren’t doing it now will never do it.

Completely agree. Unfortunately as you noted… Its a huge investment. Unrealistic for most companies. If you don’t have the backing of someone like Target, who funded much of Method’s initial start up costs, its virtually impossible. You certainly can’t be backed by any of the big VC’s… Who wouldn’t give half a shit…

It does suck. But Honest can’t pull QC (quality control) samples off every run/batch/whatever coming from all their different vendors. That’s not possible. That would put them out of business, QC’s require tons of time and tons of money. They don’t have the staff to fly someone around all over the planet to pull QC…
