You could have built any world you wanted to—why choose one ruled by the same regressive, white-washed midcentury morality as every other "modern" fairy tale? Aren't thou bored?

You tried.

I feel like for Lupita to succeed in Hollywood, she's going to have to make roles and opportunities for herself, just like this. It's sad that roles aren't going to be thrown her way like other gorgeous young starlets who've won awards, but on the other hand that's what makes her an even more bad ass role model for

Seriously. Captain America can get it.

Sandy, I am NOT mad at you. Chris Evans is hella fine.

His father is apparently a tool, despite what was a fairly squeaky -clean image when he was doing his sitcom. (Thicke was a womanizing tool, Cameron became a Jeezus-freak, and Tracy Gold was anorexic. WTF went on on that set?!)

Um, that's four seconds longer than me. So.

HELL YEAH! I can't get an arm balance to save my life. I got a pretty mean Eagle though.

You're welcome! Once you're feeling solid, there are all kinds of variations you can do. So fun!

Nope. If nothing else for the joke that she's too fat to fit in a size two without getting stuck in the dress. Har! Size 4 is so fat!

That's fucking impressive.

Let's see: an influential, successful black woman who has worked in the music industry for 15+ years, who owns her own company, and is arguably the greatest singer/dancer of the now. But yeah, they totally just threw her on this list.

Ha - I knew someone wouldn't waste the opportunity to say something negative about Beyonce being included on this list. No matter if you don't care for her music (or Lady Gaga's, or any other performer included on the list), she is relevant because she sells a lot of records, makes a lot of money, and is influential

Like it or not Beyonce IS a powerful woman. She is influential with her music and the art that goes along with that music. She might not be a head of state but she exerts tremendous influence on this world.

Because placing blind blame is easier than delving into the roots of the problem.

Lol @ this comment on the Associate Press website:

I'd say the media scrutiny of violence against women is reaching a fever pitch.

I think she looks great, and is obviously happy about it, so hey, it's all good.
