I dunno. Gunn was posed a question, and answered honestly. He said he is conflicted and unsure about the issue, I don't see anything wrong with someone admitting they are conflicted about an issue. Hell, I'd much prefer it over someone so adamant and staunch in their position that they can't even hear another

I think what he's trying to say is right-on. But what he's trying to say is about body diversity, not about trans models. Trans models aren't a problem. The problem is that the fashion industry excludes models that have body shapes that look like the kind of bodies that a lot of women have. He's right to be concerned

Yet another case of "Something must be everything or else it is nothing," huh? I appreciated his thoughtful response.

Inartfully and problematically said in terms of ascribing gender, but this was the message I read:

You know, I think we need to wait to see how Tim Gunn's thoughts develop on this issue before burning him at the proverbial internet stake. Transgender issues in fashion are new, and there is a learning curve. Shit, I'm thirty years younger than Tim and sometimes I am still confused/struggling with these issues too.

Bring out the torches....

You know, I don't have a huge problem with an adult admitting that an issue is complicated and trying to think it out. Transgender issues and rights are relatively recent discussion points, so I don't fault people in not immediately jumping to the "correct" conclusion and worldview. I'm not saying we should give

I think the title expresses it perfectly. He's conflicted. I can see him working through these issues in his head. He seems like a good guy, thinking hard about something that is a big part of his life. I think that's allowed.

Did Fred Armisen get bobble-head skinny all of a sudden?

I would be giggly in the presence of Seth Meyers, period.

I will always, always be disappointed that Blake Lively ended up being the huge breakout star of Gossip Girl. Leighton is so much cooler. Especially since she married Seth Cohen. Lively just got the failed Green Lantern.

This is supposed to be something to be amazed by? I read it at 15.

"I was just impressed that this 20-year-old girl is reading Anna Karenina, from Kentucky, who likes to eat junk food, and watch Real Housewives of Long Island. She's a down home girl and she's reading this book. I love it."

Agreed, although I did think the eat the cake (cake is frequently slang for ass) was a reference to eating ass, so I thought, hell shit, Jay-z is going there, talking about eating ass on this mainstream song. I'm here for it. Beat the box up like.. etc was slang that was referring to him...well basically fucking her

You're not the only one who feels this way, there have been tons of comments about it. Truth is it'll prob never be addressed by beonce or jay z. If they did, it wouldn't make you feel any better about it. Upon hearing the lyric, it felt to me like it was referencing a power dynamic between them during a sexual

I have a full day of class tomorrow and I fully intend on using this as my sole means of communication.

I'm not sad about this at all. Brooke Burke-Charvet is a terrible, awful TV hostess. Well, perhaps that's unfair. She might do well in another venue, but her "work" on DWTS was just awful. She never looked comfortable in front of the camera and she can't improvise to save her life, which is kind of a skill one

It's because she's extremely smart and competent.

"I want this to be a pretty high-end tour. I want it to be like good art. And I am excited to go to places where people are usually not exposed to too much good art. It can be a good education for the kids who come to my concert."
