Why would you bother typing out the URL at all? I have all of my most-visited and most-important bookmarked in the line right below the AwesomeBar. One click, and Lifehacker.

@djlurch: You seem to be on the well-trodden path to a Mac. Welcome.

Do lifehacker readers actually use this? Really? I mean, Firefox works everywhere, PC and Mac people have Safari, and PC people have Chrome to top it all off. Internet Explorer? That buggy, limping program your parents use? Really?

I refuse to switch to anything else until they get some AdBlock plus on them.

Can someone give me a good one(s) for a Mac?

@buzz_bomb: Wow, your children are FF snobs? A kid who still believes in Santa will only use FF but I cannot get my 50 year old parents to see the difference.

I currently use RealPlayer on my MacBook to download videos off the Internet that I want to keep. However, I know it isn't that great and I don't really like it that much, but it serves a purpose. Is there a better way?

I wish someone would make a good Samurize/Rainmeter - alike for OSX. :(

I wish there were things (like Samurize or Rainmeter) that looked this good for Mac. Geektool just doesn't cut it for me.

@bhageman: I'm sure security love you : )

@Deprong Mori: Thanks, I was having trouble with the Google search box.

Oh, and I wondering, what is the matzoh part of the soup? I'm not Jewish, but I've always wanted to try to make matzoh ball soup. Can anyone give me the rest of the recipe, or a link?

Guys, chill. IF he was recommending something potentially harmful, then yeah, warn people of the dangers. But (excuse my language) it's f-ing chicken soup! Seriously, it's won't hurt you or anyone else, and it will probably help you seeing as we can probably all agree that chicken, vegetables, and the other goodies in

@strife1012: Holy Crap. I get confused just reading that, much less trying to use it all. It probably works great, but wow.

I can't see this being useful to me in anyway, ever, but it is still amazingly cool and probably very useful. I'm impressed.

@TechTuner: Haha yeah it seems that way doesn't it. This one is really getting everyone riled up.

This will probably be a success, as you can prevent yourself from EUI (Email under the influence) and review your algebra at the same time!

I don't have an apple remote, but I downloaded this and thought maybe i could use it without one. I can start it up, but to exit from it i need to shut down my computer. Is there a way to exit lockdown without an apple remote?
