As recently as this spring, it was called “Torrance,” which isn’t as generic, although it tells you even less about what the film is about.

Frozen wasn’t exactly a game-changer; superficially subversive, it appealingly bent without breaking family-film rules.

Recentering Romeo and Juliet around Tybalt or Mercutio is pretty much the best way to breathe life into it at this point.

The synopsis sounds silly, but a lot of Spike Lee films do, on paper, but soar on the screen.

This sounds like a winner.

Most of those channels are running “judge” shows or Maury Povich knock-offs now. Syndication ain’t what it was.

Where is Fantasy Island being rerun or streamed?

Most of the really old stuff that was once the staple of reruns isn’t profitable enough to convert for streaming, so it’s just in limbo.

I’ll spoil it:

It’s Orange is the New Black

It would be nice to see the series finally tackle the Satanic Panic. While it’s been great to see D&D portrayed in a positive light on the show, but it’s unrealistic to pretend that no one had an issue with it in the 1980s.

You can’t fool me. Not even the Star Wars series would name a character “Plo Kloon.”

My guess is whoever controls the franchising rights in SoCal is being extra-careful, given how densely populated the local donut scene is.

They’re pretty divisive, but I’m with you.

The Krispy Kreme style of donut seems to be a regional style of donut. I got introduced to it while attending college in southwest Virginia and bonded with it and love it.

Now, in Southern California, where the local donuts are dense and cakey enough to stop a bullet, there are lots of people who straight up hate the

Honestly, the Diablo IV trailer may nail the tone of the franchise better than any they’ve done to date. In the past, they’ve leaned too heavily on big spectacles, but sinful mortals being the cause of their own damnation is A+ stuff.

He’s more qualified for public office than 99% of Congress.

It’s the title of the book after the next one. Alternate title: Heat Death of the Universe.

I am not getting back into the books/franchise generally until all the novels are out. (No, I’m not counting Fire & Blood II, George.) Once Winds of Winter is out, then the wait is on for the series’ actual conclusion.

Honestly, I have no desire for any more Game of Thrones content until the day A Dream of Spring arrives in stores. At which point, I’ll probably be waist-deep in dementia and able to make a fresh start on the whole thing.
