Ohhhh... those things are so freaking good.

What are your guilty pleasures? Right now I've got:

I dunno, the Vegan Police seem pretty tough. Wouldn't want Mr. Leto to lose his Vegan Powers.

What did the fish say when it ran into the wall?

In downtown Chicago, partying it up for St Patrick's Day. Any establishments I should make sure to visit?

This happened when you were in high school. The bus was full.

My mother says: "They need to combine them and have a post called 'This fudge is for you!' You know, like Bud? Wasn't that a Bud commercial?" I love my mom.

There are several kids at the elementary school where I work who work rainbow-colored extensions into their braids. It is a-friggin-dorable, without fail. I kind of wish my mom had done this for me when I was little, but 1) it was the 80s, and 2) I wouldn't even sit still long enough for her to feather my bangs,

Does Zima still exist? I'm turning 30 this summer, and I want to have a huge 90's bash to celebrate. Zima, Pop Rocks, grunge music and clothes, the whole works. I forgot about scratch and sniff stickers, too! Remember any other 90's tidbits that I can totally steal from you?

Exactly! Snooki has said that she doesn't think she doesn't have any real 'skills,' and can't imagine herself working a 9 to 5. This seems like a viable alternative to that. And, once she inevitably fades into obscurity, I don't think it's going to affect her child much.

seriously! That apartment is so fun! Like waking up every day in a Japanese garden.

Agreed. I was like, "Well, that's... nice."

Exactly! He's got the nomination locked up. Many, MANY Dems aren't even bothering to vote.

My major is English - Creative Writing and my minor is Economics, so I'd be looking for something at a publishing house, ideally. I also work for the Boys and Girls Club, so if the New York chapter had an opening, I could definitely slide in there, and I work for BMO Harris Bank, which has limited NYC offices, but

Now playing

I'm in a class this semester called Texts for Performance. This week the assignment was to write character sketches for a 10 minute play. After the teenybopper party last night, I sat down to write. I'm now writing a play, set in a high school, about 3 catty girls and a boy who looks like Justin Bieber. Damn you,

Thanks for this. You're right: the all or nothing campaign is a problem. It reminds me of abstinence-only. People will co-sleep, for a variety of reasons, how can they do it safely?

How would you do that? I know Milwaukee has an anti-co-sleeping media campaign right now, especially targeting low income populations with limited resources. How would you handle education of safe co-sleeping?

Thanks, you have some great tips here!

While I think Mayim Bialik has some great tips here, I do get concerned about co-sleeping. Parents can and do roll over onto babies and suffocate them, and the results are heartbreaking. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is doing a series on the infant mortality rate in the city, and one of their chief concerns is the

Because news flash - if you do ever have a baby, their needs should eclipse whatever is "convenient" for you.
