Maybe we will finally get a torchinsky inspired modern vw. I for one hope those pesky importation laws get repealed.

Let’s face it, it’s now up to each of us to vote with our wallets. I don’t think the government will help us anymore.
Probably not a smart idea to go all the way down to 0.9 L, but I’m curious what this trend has done for the real world fuel economy of high performance cars like the BMW M3/4 and Ferrari 488 which still have enough displacement to get around.
Way to one up the OP
That’s risky business. Especially now that I know that when you crash at the ring you have to pay for the guardrails, maintenance teams, and lost revenue for closing the track.
Unfortunately it’s more complicated and disputed than that. Many people define them by the number of pillars:
You’re absolutely right. New cars are too expensive. And boring. This is the real reason millennials aren’t lining up to buy them. Cheap used cars, Uber, and public transportation are beating the auto industry because they’re too busy haggling over automatic headlights and in-car wifi. I think you speak for a lot of…
Fuck that. I will never buy a car from china. Their reputation for quality has a long way to go.
What if you actually ARE blind?
Make it bmws and yeah, you have my beautiful dark twisted fantasy.
Safety concerns aside, that is really cool. It looks just like a motorcycle.
Don’t you think it’s a little dishonest for a car company to sell an “all new” car on such an old platform? Remember, this is not a facelift of an old model, it’s supposedly completely new. It’s a freshly polished turd with a chevy badge that was a kinda late to the cuv party.
I wouldn’t say they were improved “hugely”
My god, it’s perfect. The color, those wheels, even the m badge on the steering wheel. Strikingly subtle.
Those are all good things, but I can’t get over the look of that trunk/hatch (tratch?). I’m more interested in those wagons you had. What models did you have?
Great idea! Also off topic, why in the world did BMW give the U.S. THIS instead of a sweet e36 wagon like that?
Apparently you could find one misinformed writer to kill.
Typo, my bad
What an amazing car. I have never heard the term “outbound shifter” before and never thought I would. Now I see what all the fuss is about with bugattis. Apparently they’re one of the finest examples of simple and elegant design.
You may be right, but it's just way too much fun to make fun of someone for making their car basically useless.
