I didn’t create the app. So toxic may not be the right word. But there is no doubt that cosmetics are mostly filled with random chemicals and regulatory organizations are slow to monitor or ban some of these chemicals.

There is an app, Think Dirty. It came out last year and has been a great tool for scanning your cosmetics to determine how toxic they are. I have been using it and it’s definitely helpful and they seem to update their database of products everyday.
