That same article outlines two situations in which you'd prefer the Titan: 1) where you need a shorter card that fits in a smaller case. or 2) Where you plan to run 2 or 3 cards in SLI, as the Titan gets much better SLI scaling. With cards this powerful, that's really only useful if you're planning on running games on

It was tough choosing between that or "It's not Seinfeld, it's me."

Sometimes things other people think are hilarious just don't click for me. Seinfeld was one of those. I've never understood why anyone thinks it's funny: I probably never will.

How long until they release the new version that removes the share button and chops $100 off the price?

But of course! MP is a renewable resource. ANTDOT isn't. Hogging potions is necessary for sustainable development.

Gametrailers is the site owned by MTV, home of the Spike VGA, the annual aggressive video game marketing campaign disguised as an award show. Crysis 3 ads are splattered all over their front page. Metacritic says they award scores that are higher than average 64% of the time.

The difference is that a Kickstarter investment, like most investments, is inherently riskier than a purchase. You're often putting your money in before a project has even finished its initial planning stage, and there are all sorts of potential pitfalls: slipping schedules, ballooning costs, shoddy output, unforseen

Topical!

I thought "loon" sort of covered that. Maybe not so much.

I never watched Seinfeld very much, so thanks Youtube.

From a legal standpoint, yes, but from a realistic standpoint, it's an investment. You're making a donation, generally in return for some promised reward. You're not getting a share in the company or a portion of profits, but you do expect a return on your investment.

It's only funny if you get fully funded and then fail to deliver said warning.

It's completely relevant. Stop making mole hills out of mountains.

None of this is much different from investing anywhere else: there's always a risk involved. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you start suing people. Just ask Sega what happened with Colonial Marines, right?

You know, if this had happened in real life, it'd be all sorts of disturbing. In some respects, the eery way it reflects on society is pretty darn creepy.

Yeah, but that one's largely your fault.

Same here. 3rd person works with a controller because it gives you much more precise control over what direction you move in, and because shooting with a mouse isn't going to be easy when the camera's spinning all over the place. 1st person works for an FPS for pretty much the same reason: you get a lot more precision

"The [...] title for this post is [...] what the guy ACTUALLY said." —veryobvious

SOLD!

I like how everyone things I'm assigning all the blame to Sega and absolving Gearbox of responsibility. I'm not. I'm just saying that this sucks for everyone involved.
