regarding #6, his mother worked at Sandy Hook also. A far cry from "zero connection"

It's still a high profile, embarrassing scandal. Both scenarios are embarrassing, but if he was pushing the death to get publicity for the Heisman, it's pretty despicable, even though it's not illegal.

Be careful, it cuts both ways.

So he couldn't find an obit or a record of the car accident and he thought he should just let it go? Why wouldn't that raise red flags? Why wouldn't you investigate those red flags before embarrassing yourself?

In truth it's a saying that goes both ways. There is a mother jones article that investigates all the mass shootings. The few that have been stopped have been stopped by cops or off duty cops. There was one where 2 armed civilians were gunned down trying to intervene.

I obviously didn't read the article, if he's an actual employee and the company didn't know, yeah that's not good, made even worse by allowing the Chinese subcontractor to impersonate him. On the other hand, if he was a contractor from the start, it doesn't matter how he gets it done, excepting the impersonation

Ok $500k vs $600k, wonderful criticism.

Swimming is an individual sport...they try to make it a team sport by having relays and assigning points to places, but in reality, it's entirely individualized.

Did you finish reading that sentence about taxes? I'm glad you're getting the most out of your internet anonymity.

Which is exactly why people outsource: they're paying fewer taxes and less money to employees. Close the tax loop hole, maybe include penalties and you'll see this trend go down.

It's the same thing consulting firms do.

Reminds me of those stupid order of operations posts on facebook and the number of people that get it wrong.

your conclusion was right, but the assertion is wrong.

So you agree with his first point which is a concession of what the guy actually did wrong and ignore everything else. Classy.

That's because it's like 8 yards of wool folded over itself hundreds of times. That and high socks will keep anyone warm.

I started running last year. I used normal athletic socks. My feet had massive blisters, my nails tore off or filled with blood and my socks were filled with blood after every run longer than a 5k. I got new shoes but still had the same issues until I started using feetures socks. I'm sure its the same concept, but

Former highschool swimmer here. One person can not win you a meet. Every place except last place gets points. She can only swim in 4 events: two individual and two relays. At best she can get her team 40 points. If no one else on her team places behind her the other team gets more points out if the event. When I
