*Murano Crosscab

But where that analogy ends is that cars vary widely in condition, desirability, color, options and features. I was saying that people don’t negotiate on Subway despite each sandwich only costing $1.50 to make for a $6 sub. They understand that the franchisee is entitled to make some money for providing a service.

*Product designer name Mergio quietly slips out of the room*

It’s super obnoxious. I worked at Autonation shortly after they went to a “One Price” model on their used cars. We literally couldn’t adjust the price of the car, and people would get SOOO MAD. Even if you talked about the pricing and the reasoning all the way through the transaction, and showed them book value on the

Some shitty dealers try and play games. Most dealers anymore (especially larger ones) just want to move metal. The average profit line was about 5-8% on any given used car, and on new cars would generally be a loss without the volume incentives possible on each car. Again, new cars are a way to get trade-ins and

I used to almost take the day off on the last day of the month when I was selling. Too many loonies trying to get another $2000 off an Altima that was already discounted $3000 off MSRP before incentives (which they came to buy because it was already the cheapest in the area).

Here’s an odd question on this one: My wife’s Focus ST sits in the low to mid-3000's in the RPM range at 75-80mph (which is a fairly normal speed on some of the highways here). It seems like Ford could have made 6th a little more overdriven. My Land Rover sits in the low-2000s at the same speed. How is it in this car?

Whenever I think of a Veracruz (which is extremely rarely) I always imagine an Aztek, but at like 90% ugly. Similar proportions and style.

I have to go with air-conditioned seats. I’m not a large man by any means (ok, I’m on the larger side but more stocky than fat) and I can’t sit in a seat in any weather condition besides ultra-freezing cold without immediately being glued in with sweat. I love that feature, it’s awesome.

Also, the Subaru Crosstrek doesn’t seem to depreciate at all here in Colorado. It’s boring but has AWD....

Why not a Challenger GT? Challengers don’t seem to depreciate as bad as most muscle cars, the 300hp V6 has plenty of get-up, and you have AWD and a fairly well appointed interior as standard.

A brand new Jeep is actually eclipsing $35k+. They don’t want to be undercut by people who just want a fun, cheap, off roader with the wrangler swagger. I’m guessing you can buy 3 Roxor’s for what a single Wrangler costs though...

In my experience with big box stores, Home Depot was one of the better ones. Which is sad because it definitely wasn't great.

Their “high performance 975cc streetfighter” will most likely pull less than 100hp out of that motor. Sad considering Triumph (I would argue the current leader in streetfighters) has a 675cc motor good for more than that. Also, it'll probably be heavy, and expensive.

As much as I love the Genesis product, I can’t really abide Chevy being in the upper portion of the mass market, while Jeep sits on the low end (even below Dodge and Chrysler????). However, it definitely doesn’t surprise me that the Acura is on the low end for luxury. I shopped a TLX because I loved my older TL, and

The door glass suggests that this is armored against small arms fire, the beefy bead-lock looking wheels suggest that they’re probably pretty capable of speed runs in the rough stuff. The brackets on the rear of the cab and near the back of the bed look like they’re carrying cables that could run a video feed.

I have a ‘63 Midget that has all of 43hp (maybe). We’ve been talking about dropping an F20C out of an S2000 AP1 into it. It would be a roughly 1600lb car powered by ~240hp. That would be plenty to pull on some larger vehicles.

I second that McLaren 720S. I drool over those quite often.

How does she not notice the differences in the interior and ride height?????? And who leaves their keys in their car????????

Now playing

Modestep: Show me a sign. Good enough for the original Forza Horizon and now one of my favorites.
