The taurus is fairly reliable. Sedans depreciate hard because they don’t really sell well when they’re used unless they have a Honda or Toyota badge (and even then they can sit for some time). The VW is the worst because they’re total garbage.

The only luxury offshoot I like more than Genesis is Lexus. The G80 is my favorite midsize luxury car, especially for the money.

Renegade is pretty close. The Trailhawk isn’t the most off-roady car out there but it’ll get into nastier stuff than a current gen Rav4. Plus it has that MySky roof thing that is one step from being a full convertible once you take it off.

Nissan dumped the development money into the Titan instead of the Frontier. Unfortunately the interior was decent for about a year but is already outdated on the new Titan. And other half tons are catching up capacity-wise to the diesel as well. So not the best gamble maybe?
