I’m not really surprised by this. It seems like every major developer is trying to move into the mmo business if not make their games more like mmo’s.

@RambaRal: As far as I know there aren’t any playable animal characters in free realms.
MMO developers who promise console versions remind me of a bunch of kids at the beach. They all go running and cheering down to the water but then screech and run back for safety when their toes feel how cold it is.
@FrankN.Stein: Let’s hope this doesn’t start a new exoplanet naming tradition where astronomers name worlds after their spouses. It would only be a matter of time until we’re hopping on generation ships bound for Staci and Mitch in the Jennifer system.
"Baby, let’s just sit down and watch the sunset…"
@Niteman cometh: I should have just specified and stated he would not be allowed to use select all, check boxes, click and drag, and that his inbox would moved to AOL mail.
@DefineStatutory: "all one at a time."
"If there's anything that does hit my e-mail box that I didn't ask to receive, I'll simply press the delete button," he said on his website. "That's what it's on the keyboard for."
@Mixiboi: I stand corrected. On closer inspection it looks like it was closer to 85 million after all the promotion.
@Blayne Scott: That would be Watchmen. I suggest reading the book first though. It does a much better job at capturing the paranoia of the 1980's than the film does, mostly because it was actually written during the 1980's as opposed to being filmed twenty years later.
@fury161: Men in Black was a buddy cop film about two dudes fighting aliens. It’s pretty light fare in the schemes of things. It doesn’t have twelve year olds getting beat up, drug use, incredibly awkward sex scenes in a flying owl mobile, or twenty-somethings guitar players that pull flaming swords out of no where.…
Calling it right now. Going to be a huge financial disappointment. When have we seen an indie comic film adaptation do well at the box office?
Please no narrative links. Singer’s attempts to tie Returns to the older films just made it come out feeling vague and lifeless. This is actually a series that could use a full reboot for movie goers. Tying it in to films that are decades old is downright confusing.
I'd have to see how much this would cost but right now I'm having trouble reconciling the purchase of yet another device other than my iPad, iPod, and laptop for mobile gaming, especially when its purpose seems so specific.
This theory rests on the assumption that human beings have been making progress throughout history. I’d argue that development is more cyclical than that. We’ve still got a lot of the same basic problems we had fifty thousand years ago; poverty, war, disease, except now we have nuclear war and pollution to worry…
@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep 2: The Reckoning of the Sheep: And orange slices after the deathmatch!
In the words of physical education teachers everywhere, "No pain. No gain."
I’m also wildly out of touch with this hipster phenomenon and I’m in New York City just about every weekend. I just thought the whole vintage clothing thing was simply the new manhattanite fashion trend. Didn’t realize it was an actual lifestyle.
