Yeah sorry but that’s not an ejection. Incidental contact on someone who fell into him.
And then football season rolls around...
Given the shitshow that is the D.C. subway, it’s a safe bet that 75% of the people at the game didn’t intend to be there. It’s just that that’s where their train to Tysons Corner stopped and went out of service. The fans who actually meant to attend the game most likely found themselves stranded at the zoo, asking…
Only sort of related: the wife and I took the kids down to this game from NYC. Nats fans are unreal. Without exception, every fan and employee here has been friendly to us and nice to our kids, despite the four of us being decked out in blue and orange. And, when Syndergaard got hurt, there was polite applause and…
If you’re so firmly conservative that your mind goes immediately to “ESPN’s liberal agenda is killing them!”, you are likely a strong supporter of Fox News. If you have Fox News, you have cable. And if you have cable...you’re paying ESPN like $80 a year even if you never touch the channel.
MLB Network should grab Jayson Stark RIGHT NOW.
Dilfer isn’t really a surprise to me. ESPN employs like five too many bald quarterbacks with bad takes on stuff.
Right. Fox has the next World Cup, right? Ugh. Still at least they have decent Bundasliga coverage. So it’ll be better than ESPN.
So dumping hockey, soccer and college conference-specific coverage. I mean the last one’s a no-brainer. SEC and Longhorn Network are just money grabs, right. They can be cut into their own satellite.
This is exactly why ESPN has to have layoffs in the first place. I have to go elsewhere for sports. You go to ESPN for *I guess* conjecture and fake, unnecessary arguments.

Liked his writing, though it was tainted by the fact it was on ESPN’s weird NESN-light side site.
I mean it, and it’s not my fault if other people are incapable of appreciating the work by Weta Digital artists that went into that scene.
Honestly? Didn’t hate the movie. Went with 2 others to see it, and one hated it. The other two of us thought it wasn’t that bad. But y’know, he went in already with a scowl on his face, so it was a given he was just going to complain about the little things during it. To which I say: 1) don’t talk during the movie.…
you know what, F the hate. The movie was actually pretty damn good. Better than several of the Marvel movies. was it a great adaptation, no, but it wasn’t a terrible one either. But as a standalone movie, it was great to look at, had a serviceable plot, fun action, and good acting. I honestly didn’t understand…
The most visually impressive scene, at least for me, was at the end when she rips open the tank just like the original Ghost in the Shell film. It was an amazing recreation of that scene. Her muscles bulged and skin ripped apart in a completely visually-believable manner.
