Furries everywhere, and it’s up to a headstrong fox and a smart rabbit to save the day. But enough about Zootopia.

You say that like it’s a bad thing. Furries are some of the most fun and free-spirited people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with. Sure some of them have ‘out there’ proclivities, but I live in the S&M community , so who am I to assign normality roles?
It’s short, coming in at around 13 minutes, but remember: this is a team effort between Production I.G. (Ghost in…
yeah big fan of having actual buttons too. I’ve tried playing on my phone but it just feels so uncomfortable
If you look at the last photo near the right stick, you can see what looks like a B button on the screen.
I like buttons :/ some people aren’t very staticky and touch controls won’t move or respond 1st try.
Interesting. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed touchscreen gaming more than gaming with buttons though. I also have a phone for touchscreen games so I am not so sure I’d be a customer if this is the control scheme and it is indeed touch based.
So there’s a few things here. One, Harding is kind of representative of an earlier period in esports / streaming culture. So him getting fired like this for “being himself” is one of those moments where you can actually see a cultural shift happening.
Who is this guy and why do people apparently care?
I wouldn’t write them off that quickly. This is Cartoon Network, not Nickelodeon. Adventure Time gets away with some questionable things (Hotdog Knights exploding, Finn’s arm, etc.) and they’re CN. I’d wait and see for myself before casting cynical assumptions.
There was this time they beat up Mojo Jojo so bad, you felt bad for him. It was pure rage on the Girls’ part.
I agree that the writing needs to maintain that balance between random humor and Shrek 1-esque "this would go over a child's head" humor. If they can make it as entertaining as the original still is, I'm amped.
Animation and voice changes don’t bother me. As usual for me the most important thing that matters is the quality of the writing. If the stories are good, then a lot of times people will get over the other changes.
Are they censoring punches? I remember watching this when I was kid and holy shit sometimes fight scenes were really brutal
They very likely don’t even think about it. Seeing anyone of African descent, American or otherwise, in Japan is exceedingly rare, and the country is still pretty insular and xenophobic.(Think ‘MERICAFUCKYEAH, but ‘NIHONFUCKYEAH INSTEAD)
I’m pretty sure they don’t go out of their way to put black people in anime taking place in medieval Japan. Still, the Witcher 3 got a lot of bad press for not having black people in fantasy world deeply based on polish forklore, which means there shouldn’t be any. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the future Ghibli…
That depends on what you mean. They have depicted characters who are not Japanese, but I cannot recall a specific example of a character who appeared neither Asian nor European (with the usual catch that the stylized animation can send mixed signals about race, especially in fantasy projects that borrow cultural…
Japanese people are people of colour.
Really, Eugenics is where you go? Troll much?
I dunno.. don't you think if more intelligent people were breeding, there'd be more livable wages, paid leaves, and proper funding for scientific research? It certainly wouldn't hurt in trying to live up to the ideals and promises you speak of...
