I haven’t finished Undertale. Other games and such got in the way. I see its appeal to those who like it. I see the lack thereof for people who don’t. But there’s gotta be a better way to convey your point than to shit on its fans.

Kotaku has pulled a very misleading quote from the video. If you watch the video, you will understand why MatPat called it evolution. In a non-gamer perspective, video games is just senseless violence. Undertale breaks the mold by showing the player a more peaceful solution to beat the game. It is true that there are…
I think the point he was making with that quote was that it was a great DECONSTRUCTION of the medium, not the best game ever made.
Even as one of those people who (personally) think it’s the best thing since sliced bread, I’ll agree that he’s being over the top, but still. The game is damn good at pulling the rug from…
So I am not sure you understand what Undertale really represents, or rather that you know anything about the story, characters, gameplay.
waaaaaa people really really like something i dont really really like. why do they have to talk about it lets talk about something i like instead waaaaaaa
Have you tried not “hating” people for the grim crime of really liking something and finding it important to them? Maybe you could go on with your life?
You said “stop speaking on behalf of all gamers” immediately after you implicitly classify any Undertale fan as over-maniacal. Over-generalized classifications only work for you when you can exclude yourself from said classification?
Yeah! Who unironicly likes things anyway? What a bunch of fags, amiright?
You must be a hoot at parties.
I’ve yet to see any Undertale fan being aggressive with his love of the game. I have however, seen countless people like you shitting on fans in the most disgusting manner. From where I stand, you pretty much represent the toxicity you describe.
Furries everywhere, and it’s up to a headstrong fox and a smart rabbit to save the day. But enough about Zootopia.
You say that like it’s a bad thing. Furries are some of the most fun and free-spirited people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with. Sure some of them have ‘out there’ proclivities, but I live in the S&M community , so who am I to assign normality roles?
It’s short, coming in at around 13 minutes, but remember: this is a team effort between Production I.G. (Ghost in…
yeah big fan of having actual buttons too. I’ve tried playing on my phone but it just feels so uncomfortable
If you look at the last photo near the right stick, you can see what looks like a B button on the screen.
I like buttons :/ some people aren’t very staticky and touch controls won’t move or respond 1st try.
Interesting. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed touchscreen gaming more than gaming with buttons though. I also have a phone for touchscreen games so I am not so sure I’d be a customer if this is the control scheme and it is indeed touch based.
So there’s a few things here. One, Harding is kind of representative of an earlier period in esports / streaming culture. So him getting fired like this for “being himself” is one of those moments where you can actually see a cultural shift happening.
Who is this guy and why do people apparently care?
They very likely don’t even think about it. Seeing anyone of African descent, American or otherwise, in Japan is exceedingly rare, and the country is still pretty insular and xenophobic.(Think ‘MERICAFUCKYEAH, but ‘NIHONFUCKYEAH INSTEAD)
