I tried this last night. After an hour I had to toss ammonia down the sink, open all my windows, turn on the whole house fan, evacuate my dogs, and sit in my car for an hour before entering my house safely. I am curious to know how anyone else was able to do this for 12 hours without being overcome by the toxic fumes.
