Anybody else waiting for the episode where the Star City media runs a story questioning a love affair/nepotism scandal between Oliver and Dinah? From their outside perspective, she's suspicious as hell. The mayor personally swears in/pins a badge on a single new SCPD recruit with a strange amount of fanfare, said

Producer: You know how the audience is growing tired of Oliver being a douche to his teammates and constantly keeping secrets? Let's have Oliver be refreshingly honest and vulnerable with Team Arrow this season.
Writers: [nodding heads as producer speaks]
Producer: But, to mix things up, we'll dump all of his dishonesty

That's the very solution I kept waiting for. Not Barry doing more speed dialing. The underuse of Vibe in the heroics is ridiculous at this point. One speedster and one viber, with their different skillsets complimenting each other, should be a more effective team than two or three speedsters all doing the same thing.

Waiting between entries doesn't bother me because almost every filmed-at-once show I've ever watched has serious pacing issues endemic to the writing anyway, so I don't see one format as superior to the other. Pros and cons for both.

There are waaaay more weeks in the September-to-May TV season than there are episodes produced for a TV season (especially in the back half), so, as long as networks are obsessed with May finales, we'll always have gaps.

The only time the CG bothered me was when Solovar jumped up into the air to slam his staff down for shockwave creation. The effects themselves didn't look bad, but the angle they chose drew attention to the Ken doll crotch and I was immediately pulled out of the proceedings. There was a serious lack of gorilla

Remember when Sara was bisexual? Neither do they.

I took it at face value and hadn't considered that. That'd be a fun twist. I'm immediately imagining a Niles situation from Frasier.

Agree to disagree. Always dig out bullets with knives, always shock a flatline and always fix routine choking with an ink pen airway.

Hey, this is a live-action comic book, not med school. You take that logic stuff and march over to reviews or recaps for Chicago Med, ma'am and/or mister. I'm wallowing in glorious nonsense here.

I've been saying the former since season 2, so I say go for it.

Let's discuss the odds that they call the next arc Agents of SHIELD: Flashpoint? Limo Fitz suggests we'll even be getting a rich wunderkind version of the resident nerd tech whiz a la Douchey Cisco. I want there to be meta humor acknowledging this so bad

My only negative is that Daisy didn't quake the bullets she was shot with back out of her body into the Coulbot and LMackD before airbending them. It's for the best that it didn't happen, though. I'd have died from the awesomeness.

Just before they left for Washington on Eugene's "mission" they were in Atlanta again. That was only two years ago.

I don't understand the Carol love from people. I've found the writing for the character rather weak for several years now. Probably since we found out she did the killing and burning at the prison. It's been a rollercoaster since then. She does genuinely badass things every now and then, but in between it's been

That never stopped them from fucking off to Atlanta every now and then.

I believe he's operating on the assumption that if he'd had the gun on his person instead of in the safe, that dude would've already been dead before the daughter showed up and the situation escalated.

Pro: Chin Na Wei
Con: Cupid

Every time I think about how amazing it would be to be a regular or recurring actor on a TV series, the pessimist in me immediately imagines an episode exactly like this. Being handed a script with seventh grade essay-level dialogue and knowing you're contractually obligated to act it out for millions of people to see

I can't help but wonder if the Mace we saw interrogated the whole episode was the LMD. I know he got cut at one point and wasn't obviously mechanical underneath, but that could be an upgrade for the sake of sneakiness. Aida being so interested in his interrogation and beating is what has me curious. She paid him a lot
