The book uses tesseract, and that’s good enough for me and any child under the age of nerd who won’t know the difference. As for wormhole or Einstein Rosen bridge, why don’t we just have Thor or Jane in the sequel? We already have Captain Kirk. Stop trying to tie this into every other Marvel movie.

Well that seems pretty derpy.

Wow, what an amazing discovery. That’s already been around for decades.

I think most cops are good. Like most institutions though the bad ones tend to be the ones who rise in power. Many of the ones who uphold the status quo aren’t so much okay with it as they are afraid of the consequences if they tried to change things.

Holy shit my country made the front page of Gizmodo.

Oh shit! I’m gonna get my ass beat because some cop is going to think I’m a bald man.

And he probably hasn’t used that voice in like 10 years.

And you wonder why so many people just don’t trust the police. I’m firmly of the mind that most cops are

Ultimately, the teen was arrested on suspicion of resisting or delaying an officer and aggravated assault on an officer.

And every goddamn bit of the officer’s account (of accosting, threatening with animal attack, detaining, assaulting, and allowing an animal attack on an innocent woman) is written up to imply guilt, of something, on the victim’s part, right down to describing her act of ‘trying to go home from the store’ as fleeing

Holy shit. This story has everything. Racism, essentialism, police brutality, masculinization/defeminization of black women, etc...

The National Weather Service told us a heavy squall line was moving east toward Cleveland. They recommended releasing before it got there. As it was, the upper atmosphere rain hit the balloons anyway, made them heavy and brought them to the ground... and Lake. We took the NWS seriously, because the night before, a

I was the Project Manager for this event. I worked on it for 6 months and lived in Cleveland for a month preparing for it. We had to design a structure this filled a city square and could stand up to 90 MPH winds, which was building code. The one-piece net was fabricated by the exact company I found in So Cal who

man fluid dynamics are the shit. the cloud of balloons looks and acts like smoke when it's released, that's so cool...
