The general consensus is that they slowly get grubby over time unless you’re unusually careful, but that they can easily be washed clean (either hand or machine wash).

Forbo-Forshaga Marmoleum is made this way (afaik). I tink it’s one of the most common floorings in Sweden where I live, and if one takes care of it correctly. by using correct wax and not soap etc, it’s a wonderful surface.
