Ergh, I loathe Swiftkey, it always seems to get everything wrong, and when it does, it’s a huge pain to go back and correct the mistake (because by then it’s already committed to the wrong word).... and as a result, in the end is often slower than one-key-at-a-time keyboards.

The thing is, if somebody can merely say “I’ll never comply!” and thereby escape sanction, that makes such sanctions useless for coercing compliance—everybody will know there’s an easy way out.

Yeah, the battery’s one of the reasons I could never really get into reading on my phone .... the battery slowly drains, and it makes reading more stressful than it should be.
