If your scope has GOTO, you can just get an inexpensive CMOS camera (e.g. those ZWO or QHY guide cameras). Many image capture software can now do live stack of images. Better imaging software (or the ZWO Asiair) can also do plate solve and help point the telescope.
Narrowband filters only work for emission nebulae such as planetaries, Lagoon, Heart/Soul, Horsehead, Veil, etc. They do nothing for other objects, although I’ve used my 5nm Ha filter as a makeshift moon filter.
