Yeah but a kid who doesn't regularly drink or do drugs(which I think is a safe assumption) who is on something that is probably X as well as coke and he's been drinking, who then sees the girl he just slept with has been brutally murdered might not be thinking rationally.

Horrified might be putting it a little strongly since he did forget his concerns pretty quickly to sleep with her.

He turned it down at first but then took it and was clearly high afterwards.

Yeah but that seems like a pretty big assumption. Since there's little chance that Nas actually did it and she was acting so strange in the cab I think it's safe to say we'll learn more about her.

Yeah it was interesting seeing a TV detective do the "help me help you thing" in a very convincing and empathetic way.

To be fair, the basic forensics would also show that his prints were on a knife that was used to stab her.

Really? Not the silent guy on the street with Bodie from The Wire? Dude was staring them down like crazy. Plus they do make a point of Bodie saying he was alone when he saw Nas and the girl. Hearse guy was just reasonably upset about some woman tossing a lit cigarette onto the ground at a gas station.

Uhh brilliant tutor and math wiz are never established. All we know is that as a tutor he is good enough to make sure the player doesn't fail. Nowhere do we see him as anything more than that. Also even if he was, a drunk/high math wiz doesn't exactly have a lot of know-how when it comes to dealing with a murder.

The exchange at the gas station? I'm assuming you mean with the hearse driver. He said that to her because she just casually tossed her still lit cigarette out onto the ground of a gas station.

“Strip away the gold and the ornaments, knock down the statues and the pillars, and this is what remains. Something simple, solid, true. The Tyrells’ finery will be stripped away …what will we find when we strip away your finery?’’

The cut in the middle of Erlich asking Richard "Are we clear?" to Richard tossing popcorn into Erlich's mouth was masterfully done, and totally adorable.

BIG HEADS SICK OF THE HIGH HAT!

TJ Miller's Emmy submission right there.

"Do I have to pull the receptionist in here?!"

He's pretty good in The Aviator

I finally sought out his special Ragnarök on Netflix and it was great of course. But his cover of 'Resist the Tide' took me by surprise. Just an incredible special all around.

In regards to his contemporaries, there's a quote from Zevon that may or may not be genuine, but I've always loved it:

Russ taking a big douchey bite of the apple then going to do the trick where you drop it and pop it back in to your hand using the crook of your elbow, only to send it flying at a guy standing in line for the front desk was amazing.

"This is actually just Jian-Yang pranking me. I should take it. Yes, of course I have frogs' legs. Why do you ask?"
