while they’re bringing them to the US, how about selling some to us civilians??
while they’re bringing them to the US, how about selling some to us civilians??
they already did that when they decided to make the CRX sucessor a hybrid
I take my Aston Martin through the touch-free car wash, where people ATTACK it with – GASP! – USED BRUSHES!
Yeah you have to watch out for cars coming across your path (don’t dally going through intersections) and coming up from behind (check mirrors, never sit in the middle of your lane). Weaving between cars isn’t necessarily safe but yeah a certain amount of swiftness is necessary to distance yourself from cars/danger.
I agree. Thinking in terms of main characters, you’ve made me realize that I’d have to put Z and V above ∀. What he lacked though, Harry Ord brought. He was awesome. And yeah the setting/style was one of, if not the coolest things in the show.
I feel you. It’s give and take. On a bike you have an unobstructed view (even with a full face helmet) to predict obstacles and the maneuverability to react to them fast. You have to ride smart and wear your gear IMO. But there’s no denying the danger.
That’s why I got into bikes. Have Porsche performance for the cost of optional carbon brakes or less.
But Loran never showed interest in men either. You could argue he was asexual I guess. But he did kiss Sochie at the end, so I think you can take that as he was in love with her or he did it as a “duty” to her.
I don’t know if it had a moral like that. I think most everyone got what they wanted
SPOILERSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the time jump is a big deal. There are lots of new players, one of them has a mask and a silly name. I remember the seasons feeling very distinct from each other. And I think a lot of people really liked the first season but not the second so they choose to separate them rather than kinda average their…
I liked the first season of 00 but Setsuna IMO is a boring character (and I can’t stand his ridiculous catchphrase). X was ok but I think Wing is a more cohesive series. If you can enjoy them for what they are, other series like G and SEED are fine.
I agree. The “character development” and relationships were basic and shallow. Mitsuki makes Setsuna look deep.
are you trolling or being sarcastic? I mean some guys like SEED, some think it’s trash. But when the author made that comparison to Gundam, we should know what Gundam he’s comparing/he thinks is good.
Not a trap, man
I would disagree. I know it has been fairly well received but found little to enjoy. At the end of the day, “more realistic” in the context of giant robot anime isn’t a big plus for me.
The ending was bittersweet for me, kind of like Victory. But yeah it’s a far cry from Zeta. I don’t know the order, but those three are the best full 50 episode series in my opinion.
I grew up with Wing so I have a fondness for it, but I didn’t like Orphans. I think the serious tone clashed with the art, characters were one-dimensional, fights were lazily directed and short. It really didn’t do much for me.
Universal Centruy is great. 0083, 8th MS, Char’s Counterattack, Zeta, Victory, Turn A (sort of UC) are stand outs for me.
As a Gundam fan you should watch all the series and make your own decision, but which ones are good/bad is highly debatable.
or even one of the better Gundam incarnations.
