You’re actually correct. A friend of mine has commercial real estate connections and is thus a friend of the guy who schedules events for the Dome. That guy said, before the Rams left, that if they did leave the property stood to make a lot more money because it freed up so many weekends for events and conventions

If you ever come back to St Louis, skip Imo’s entirely and find a Racanelli’s. They serve genuine New York style pizza and it’s really good, if a tad pricey.

I really hate when a joke doesn’t make much sense. Most of the Cardinals’ most beloved players are black or Hispanic.

I'm not sure why you're having trouble. I have the Z Play and it's been a phenomenal and durable phone for a year now.

So the update situation has gotten better, partially because the OS is really good on its own without needing updates, but also because yeah ago Google started decoupling really important stuff that would need to be updated quickly from the core OS and instead turned it into app updates from the Play Store.

I would argue that Android started being a decent alternative to the iPhone around the time of Eclair/Froyo. The original DROID was a fantastically built device, and the Droid X started the trend toward bigger and bigger screens. (I recall with some amusement that my dad jokingly called the X a “tablet” with its 4.3

Agreed. I got a Pixie as a free phone and used it briefly. I think the single best thing about the Pixie was how utterly fantastic the keyboard was for it's size. However, at the end of the day the OS had major issues and Palm had lost too much market share to gain any traction.

Sam Lucas’s message to Candace Owens is absolutely worth mentioning here.

This generation of T-bird was my ideal “first car” when I was 18. I wanted one badly. I “settled” for a 1983 Lincoln Mark VI which I picked up for $500 instead.

I’m glad that you think that emotional abuse and sexual assault count as "didn't do anything wrong."

He may lose his job because he allegedly has a history of emotionally and sexually abusing women.*

There are a lot of people saying that Hardwick is a piece of shit. It’s not just one person.

Oh? Please, tell me how Ghost in the Shell did.

I know, right?! I'm sitting here and thinking about the cameras in the casino I work at, and they aren't even close to this level of quality. I'm jealous.

It’s established, at least in the books, that the bit of protomolecule on the Rocinante is kind of like a cell tower or signal extender. It has a long, yet ultimately limited range. In the books, Miller appears even when Holden is miles away from the Rocinante.

No, he’s much better than Jayne from Firefly. Jayne is a dumb, selfish, greedy piece of shit. He has some redeeming moments but he’s definitely the biggest asshole on the crew.

I think the problem with Ashford’s switch and Melba’s lack of clear motivation are both from the same issue: trying to adapt the book to the show. I mean, trying to fit the entirety of Abbadon’s Gate into 7 episodes when the show previously spent 15 episodes on Leviathan Wakes and 14 episodes on Caliban’s War was

Not quite, and this is why I say it’s better explained in the books. The aliens had no issue with the protomolecule. They were killed off by another alien force or entity that continually invaded their territory.

Between Anderson Dawes, Ashford and Errinwright, this show has done a really fantastic job of enriching the characterization of the biggest bastards in the books. The only exception to this is Melba. Then again, in the books we have the advantage of reading a lot from her perspective, which you just can’t do as
