This idea that the rich are driving pedestrian cars like Subies needs to be put to rest. Maybe a few are but in Greenwich, Beverly Hills and Winnetka they’re driving late model luxury cars.

2007 Porsche Cayman S because even though it’s nearly 10 years old, no one will know it’s 10 years old.

It’s hard to beat a 2007-2008 Maserati Quattroporte with a proper ZF automatic transmission. Less than $30k for a car that originally stickered for over $110k, and still looks and sounds amazing nearly a decade later. As soon as I have the means, I will acquire one for myself. Here is a nice example:

No one is going to think you’re wealthy driving an S2k. At most drift kids and ricers will think you’ve got money.

The earliest F01 7-Series units (MY2009) have dipped well below $30K, but, unlike its E65 predecessor, the F01 continues to look modern and aligned with BMW’s contemporary design language. Do I recommend one? Absolutely not. You probably don’t even want one...since BMW pretty much installs prototype-grade technology
