Hello gang. Would love to chat some more about Top Gear things and shamelessly promote my new book but duty calls. Stay tuned to the usual Jalop channels though because I hope we might be able to do a proper Q&A type thing in the near future. Ithangyoo. Richard

Can’t remember. I think the real issue was that it took a long, long time to sell, meanwhile it just sat somewhere quietly fizzing with depreciation.

Promised the car. Set up filming around when it was available. Suddenly told we can’t have car when it was too late to cancel everything else. Much crossness. Bentley not budging. Did what we did. Boss of the company later wrote to apologise.

Not that I know of. But it’s now shit list v7. It self-updates.

It wasn’t Lutz. I imagine Lutz had better things to do than come to a shabby office in west London to talk through future model plans with a bored script editor.

That would be wrong, yes. This American chap worked for a more generally motoring company.

My credit is not good around here.

Just keep a tally and wire me the money every month.

This is true. Someone told us the Challenger was a hot car at the time. You’ll get all your money back no problem when you’re done, they said. We did not get all our money back.
