Where have all the lightweights gone?

VAG is still riding the engineering wave they created with the original Veyron. It was a massive undertaking of resources to make the car happen, and I am wondering if they have broken even yet on that much R&D.

Lambo was under Chrysler between 1987-1994.

THIS is exactly why I bought an SS. My wife and I don’t have kids (yet), but I wanted plenty of room for both car seats and any stuff required to schlep them around.

^^^THIS. My wife has a 2013 regular CMax Hybrid, and it’s been dead nuts reliable. For a non-sports car hybrid, it’s reasonably quick in mid-range, and the steering feel is head and shoulders above its peers.

I’ve called the cops multiple times on drunk and impaired drivers, but two are the most memorable.

Plus, it’s a Rolls-Royce! Of course it’s going to be comfortable for you and your family—this isn’t some finicky shitbox, this is a hand-built marvel of craftsmanship shitbox.

What a gorgeous car, and a gorgeous example of one! One thing about the window switch positioning, though. GM did this with the Chevy Cavalier/Pontiac Sunfire convertibles in the late 90's/early 2000's. I learned to drive on a Sunfire, and it threw me for a loop the first time I saw the switches there.

Torch, you’ve come up with some crazy ideas over the years. This has to be not only your most logical idea but the easiest to apply almost instantly!

I saw one a few months ago when I was in London. I can 100% confirm they’re equally hideous in person as they are in pictures.

If a car is about to be put a single lap down and is competitive speed-wise, it’s that’s car every right to fight to stay on the lead lap. This should especially apply to open wheel racing, where staying on the lead lap could prove beneficial if a full course caution comes out.

I would think PSA would want to ditch all of GM’s stench from the brand ASAP, and it looks like they’re doing exactly that.

I’m not sure it works that way. All Vauxhall models were rebranded RHD Opels before the PSA sale, and I believe some Vauxhall models are starting to share engines and platforms with their French counterparts. If that’s the case, cars sold under the Vauxhall brand will still have to comply with EU sound and emissions

Weren’t they sold to PSA along with Opel?

If you travel internationally at least once a year, I recommend getting Global Entry. A friend of mine travels internationally very often, and his story would have sold me on it if I didn’t have it already.

You let a bad call in one game affect an entire series. The Blues were the victims of highway robbery in the Western Conference Finals and never spoke of it again. That itself is why the Blues lifted Lord Stanley’s Cup and Marchand’s adding to your pool of tears.

Who looks at a truck like that and seethes in rage? What’s the matter with these people? What kind of glum, miserable, sanitized half-lives do they want to lead?

Now playing

Didn’t Jeremy Clarkson tell us the same thing 15+ years ago?

In addition to that, you should expect to see either a diesel and/or a power car on every excursion this locomotive runs. Because this locomotive was designed purely to haul freight trains, it’s highly unlikely it’ll have Head End Power (HEP) to power lights, AC, etc. for excursions.

My mom works for a top railcar company, and this Big Boy was towed past their shops en route to Cheyenne. This is from one of her co-workers at the shop, where she missed seeing it by mere hours.

I LOVE Nogaro Blue, but it’s a close second to Java Green.
