I went to the Geneva (IL) Concours held in their downtown area. Lots of great cars there, and I posted them to Oppo.

I’m sure the true reason he hates the Sirocco TDI is because it makes him think of this:

I never thought about it, but it makes sense to lease a car for a teenager rather than buy an older used car. It gives parents peace of mind that they’re in a new, safe, and reliable vehicle vs something that isn’t up to speed with the latest safety engineering and could potentially be a money pit for maintenance.

As long as they stay in business long enough to build this beauty, I’m all for it!

This beauty was brought outside and fired up at Rise and Drive on the north side of Chicago. I’ll have a photodump and link to video later on Oppo.

The two best films of this series were Harris’ F12 tdf review and Matt’s Roller review film. His deadpan description of the car and its features had me laughing hard the whole time.

I’m not sure where the “Newcastle” name comes from. It should have black & white stripes and a blue star on the bonnet to truly make it a Newcastle car.
