I also have this system, and I couldn't be happier with it. I've had it for nearly 8 years myself, and it's seen a fair share of abuse—college parties to the wee hours of the morning, action movie marathons, etc.—and all that has been taken in stride. The remote broke fairly early on, but that doesn't stop the rest of

That as legen—wait for it—........

I'm not too far from you—I work in Oak Brook!

Yes it does. If you like the brats, they have frozen ones you can buy along with your New Glarus stash (and cheese of course).

The Brat Stop is less than a mile west of 94 at the Kenosha (WI 50) exit. Map here

I've frequented the Iowa 80 Truck Stop many a time. I've never seen a truck with an on-site dentist and barber shop before!

There's a great book out there that outlines exactly this. It's called The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. It really opened up my eyes to just how much doing a little bit daily can add up over time!

Included in my plan is an Autobahn Country Club membership, 30min away from where I live. It'll get plenty of track time :-)

Don't worry, I have a plan:

It's very tempting, especially since I am considering a new set of wheels soon. However, I would much rather have this as a weekend fun/track/autocross car and not my DD. I'll wait a few more years and do it right.

I've been saying this for a while now about the E46. Your write-up summaries everything I love about this car. It definitely makes me want to go out and get one!

There's still hope. Ask this guy:

I can't think of a better way to teach kids about money. That's a great idea!
