Each Monte has been about a 75-80% effort from GM. They could've been better cars, but they chose not to.

I saw the convertible in person earlier this year, and I said the same thing about the grille. I thought it was too big, but it's something to embrace and get used to. It's still a gorgeous car.

There's another one at the Museum of Transport outside St. Louis. From what I've heard, I highly doubt you'll see one restored because the insulator of choice was asbestos. It's too bad...I'd love to see these things do excursions on Amtrak's NE Corridor!

Both where I live and where my girlfriend live are pretty decent areas. Taxis are not very prevalent, but in both places the taxi of choice is a used Panther in both Crown Vic and Grand Marquis varieties.
