I got an EOB from August the other day. August. It was just a routine visit to my GP, but since they ran some tests they’re just getting around to sending them out - I almost ignored them completely because I figured it was a junk mailer or them just announcing another rate change.

Sometimes I feel like the elite is playing a dangerous game letting us die off. They need us poors to make their stuff and clean. Are they gambling that by the time we’re all dead because we can’t afford to be alive that the robots will be able to pick up the slack? Damn... that’s not a terrible plan.

As you point out, that is how the insurance industry works. They will try to avoid paying out claims at all costs. They are fully aware that it is extremely stressful and time consuming to get reimbursement and know that a good percentage of clients will just give up at some point.
