Only as fast as a GTI? Way to go Civic, totally nailed that hot hatch segment

I honestly think the best first car for any kid is a pickup truck. Preferably, just 2 doors. Why?
But But But, I saw so many Jalopnik articles telling me only fools and tools need awd in the snow!
Easy. Lincoln Mark LT (or any Lincoln pickup). Like, wtf?
DEALERSHIPS ARE AWESOME HUH? GOOD THING THEY ARE HERE TO HELP US
I love that they didn't bother to shut down the roads
I'm curious what a perfect car would be. Do you think there is one and you haven't driven it yet? Or it has yet to be designed in which case; how would you describe/conceptualize it?
The review makes it seems like this is best car ever, but only a 85/100? What cars scored better?
Haha for real on the EVO. Sat in one at the Boston Auto show the other week, what a shit box. It's funny how different it feels, watching Top Gear and rallies and whatnot and thinking "Wow the EVO is a beast" and then sitting it in and thinking "OMG people pay money for this?"
You don't see it? Go sit in a Golf or GTI. Go sit in a mini. Hell, dare I say it, go sit in a Chrysler. The focus at it's base starts at 18k. I know teenagers everywhere are excited at the idea of 20k worth of engine and suspension, but when you are actually buying what is in essence two focuses, you expect more than…
I get that this is an enthusiast car, but I'm going to be hard pressed to even bother test driving it if it's 40k. I want racecar, but it's going to be a DD too. Why would I pick this over the Golf R? That interior, sigh. Race seats, awesome. Everything else? Not so much. I love how it looks though, so I'll probably…
I'm cross shopping these. Obviously can't test drive, but sitting inside of a Golf vs sitting in a Focus ST, it will be insane to think these compete with each other. The interior of the golf feels like a 30k car; the ST feels like a low end 20k car. Unless Ford bring a premium interior to go with that price, I…
You gotta feel bad for the market research folks here. In a perfect world, the product the youths want (and would buy) would be mid life crisis cars. But guess what? They're young, and can't afford that. However, there are young people out there who can buy cars. And what cars do they generally buy? Boring cars,…
I don't get wagon love. Wagons can be useful. Hauling dogs around, tossing bikes into, occasionally filling up with crap from Ikea; basically a slimmer minivan. But like a minivan, they're an eyesore. Why not get a hot hatch? Or, if you are hauling stuff that often, get a truck?
The difference between tow straps and snatch straps; hopefully he just learned it.
A few years ago, my wife bought her first car, a Scion xD. She liked its looks, practicality, and price. Less then 3 years later, with zero lifestyle change, she sold it because she grew to hate its cheap feeling interior and complete lack of power or electronics connectivity. (Full disclosure, she went out and bought…
