Im no rocket scientist, but maybe people are more concerned with the 38,000 price tag of the base model, more than getting 30 mpgs from their truck when gas is almost below 2.00 a gallon......Just a thought......

Part of the cost of gas is refiners having to make all of the different blends and octane levels for all different areas. The cost would greatly go down if all they had to make was 95 octane gas.
