I’ve tried fixing myself by conciously thinking about holding my head back and keeping things more straight. Problem is that I’m so used to the slight forward hunching that it feels like I’m doing something that looks really really silly and I stop... Stupid brain.

I know this is silly of me, but something that always bug the shit out of me for some reason is when people don’t drive screws in all the way in one go. That squeeze-pause-squeeze-pause drives me mad, commit dammit! :P

I think this is one of those fights you just have to accept that you wont win. It’s like kleenex, xerox or band aid. If you walk up to a random person and ask them if they want to go to the park and throw a “disc” around, they’ll just give you a blank stare.

Fairytales about a dude that lives in the sky.

“have you ever wondered what happens when you attempt any sort of serious acceleration in a high-performance with high-performance tires?”

Replying to this comment but it’s not directed specifically at you.

Well the instructional video also makes the controllers look like they’re the size of a keyboard. And it’s a cartoon, so... yeah :)

You can power them from a battery pack if you want (not sure how much power they draw, but I’ve seen it done) and they do not communicate really. They do have sync pulses of light that other light houses pick up but other than that they are “dumb”. They just flash and sweep a laser across the room. The rest is handled

One of the main guys behind the Vive does this:

Or put one on a bookshelf and the other on your desk. If driving a nail into a wall or using double sided tape is too much of a struggle for you that is...

Care to elaborate?

If you’re going to buy an ice scraper, get something like this:

I was thinking more “man, they must have some pretty insane markup on that”.

Dumb question time. Wouldn’t the compression need to run on the server that is serving up the pages? I don’t get how compression in chrome helps load pages faster if it still needs to get all the info from the server?

Yeah... can confirm. Holy shit.

That’s impossible. Linux is opensource and the savior of the universe. This is slander!

Journalist checklist for using the word “drone”:

People who complain about typefaces are the worst. There are SO many typefaces that are essentially identical yet these people bicker about them like it’s some crime against humanity when the “wrong”, almost identical one, is used.

Normally I would agree with you. But with this? Dude. Anyone who has gone to school and paid even a little bit of attention should know about this type of construction technique. You get at least two shots at it. History class and physics.

As someone who doesn’t watch the game:
