Finally, a female, non-white director who wasn’t born in America will have the opportunity to smile through a press tour for her film she was discretely fired from after a single good-not-great test screening months ago that a movie trailer company came in and assembled without her input

Sadly when this fails they will probably blame the fact that it was a woman director and not the fact that making a movie out of a mostly side character was not a great idea.

Its a movie about Harley Quinn, there really isn’t a way it can possible be good.  

There’s no way a woman should direct this movie. Although to be fair, I don’t think a man should direct this movie either.

Can’t wait for her unique vision to be torn to shreds in post.

I sort of like the one for the Princess Bride. I mean, it actually does fit the character:

Speaking of Seth Rogen, in Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Elizabeth Banks was game to do nudity and Kevin Smith was like nah, don’t worry, and he cast Traci Lords and Katie Morgan. Jason Mewes is just super comfortable walking around with his junk hanging out.

I know people like to think we missed something special because it’s George Miller, post Mad Max Fury Road, but if you’ve read the plot of the then you know a bullet was dodged. Those hideous Batman and Superman costumes drive it home.

Don’t bring John Oliver into it. He had nothing to do with this.

Yep, she’s low-fi but effective. Not just existing in good movies, but improving them.
