Mr. Kelleher added. “Because of the interest-rate climate, we have to think differently now.”

My last two cars the dealer delivered to my house (one was 215 miles) at no extra charge.

Dealers are upset they need to offer incentives after a few years of hyper-aggresively fucking over customers.

It is interesting out there. You have some dealerships who seem to see the writing on the wall and are advertising discounts again. Maybe not as deep as 2019, but I’ve been seeing $5-6k off pickup trucks again, for example.

Echo naming the “good dealer”. I’ll travel long distances potentially to avoid rewarding a POS local dealer.

The whole nitrogen in tires thing is really annoying, especially since the nitrogen they use is worth less than $1. (A standard 2200psi cylinder is ~230 cubic feet, and the nitrogen cost in a cylinder is like $50.)

I can see why Dodge is having issues moving stock. With it being the “Last Call” of the Challengers and Chargers, dealers have been adding 5, 10, 20k markups. I know a dealer near me has had a Challenger Hellcat on its lot for over 3 months because they are adding a 20k markup and won’t budge.

1st Gear: “and refusing to concede ground for consumers,”

Why the U-Haul?

Dealers can F themselves. They deserve eternity in fiery pit of hell. Additional Dealer Markup, Vin etching, nitrogen in tires, inflated doc fees, paint protection, mandatory tint, fabric protection, and the list continues on dealer profit schemes to rape and pillage the consumer.

A friend of mine just bought an Accord Hybrid Sport. Everywhere around Atlanta was adding a “special dealer package” that included a few oil changes, car washes, and other unnecessary stuff. He got them to knock all of the dealer fluff off by pointing out that several of them were illegal to charge in GA, most

Would you share the name of the dealer?  More PR for good, honest dealerships would be great!

Dealerships are still high on that COVID supply.  They’re dreaming and I hope it becomes a nightmare.

I could absolutely not give a shit about the plight of any car dealership.  Sink, baby, sink.

Instead of incentives, how about just knocking it off with the markup nonsense?

Whole Mars Catalog aka Omar Qazi spends his whole life promoting TSLA stock. If the Tesla ran over the lady, he would say it was her fault for not paying attention.

See first response.

The pedestrian was far enough along the crosswalk that the car should have stopped for them. A human driver may have have accelerated and not stopped either, but that doesn’t make it right.

It is state law to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. You can tell because there’s a sign clearly visible in the video that says exactly that. The Tesla failed to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk, breaking the law. So it either didn’t know, or it did know and broke the law anyway. Those are the only two
