I couldn’t be happier about Duke losing. Not just because Duke is vile, but because the Zion thing was suffocating. Yes, best player in basketball. Yes, does many incredible things. But it got to the point where he could pull down a very regular offensive rebound without the announcers creaming their khakis. 

The Bernie Trolls are out playing D hard against Warren. She has the most Name Power against him as far as the far left goes, so they are all a-froth.

It shouldn’t be—and this is a clear illustration of the influence of money in politics. It’s one thing to say that our leaders are beholden to the monied class—it’s entirely another to watch it play out in real time.

The only honest argument for the EC is you prefer the beliefs, values and priorities held by the minority and you want a better chance of being able to impose those on the majority. Every attempt at being “rational” in defense of the EC is just transparently anti-democratic.

Mariah Bell definitely has that “I’m sorry people are so jealous of me but I can’t help it that I’m popular” vibe.

Even if it was unintentional (which I doubt because these athletes are very experienced in awareness of barriers including other skaters), the failure to apologize or show any concern is egregious and will not be forgotten.  The Ugly American on display.
