True, in many way. But also, it can be fun.

Something that isn’t talk about enough is how misleading the advertised and sold EV Range number are. It’s similar to MPG numbers for ICE cars, but a bit worse. People can complain and criticize this journalist for all the mistakes she made, but what I haven’t seen people point out is how she used the 310 mile range

Some people want to explore while traveling to their final destination. So, yes, if minimizing travel time was the ONLY consideration, your point might hold, but people can have multiple considerations at the same time. Crazy concept, I know.

Yeah, that statements I don’t agree with, even as someone who is very critical of the current EV charging network. We should be moving away from having to use cars for cross country trips.

No doubt. But incentivizing the move for the normal person, you know MOST people, will require a large improvement in the charging network nationwide. We need more “carrot” since just using the “stick” won’t work.

For all my criticisms in my other comments, a Plug-in Hybrid might work for you if that’s your driving pattern/need. Most have an all electric range of 30+ miles and also have a gas engine for longer trips.

Except, you know, we’re not going from horse & buggy to cars. We’re going from one type of car to another type of car. That’s inherently different and the expectations of people will be different.

You know how much total time a regular gas powered car would’ve taken to re-fill on the same trip? A conservative estimate factoring in possibly having to wait for a pump to open up, is like an hour (60 minutes). That’s 3 hours less, which is a significant difference.

Agreed. For whatever reason, some people don’t want to accept your point. EVs will have really come into their own when you almost never have to worry about “fueling” up regardless of the distance of the trip.

I too think battery swapping is a better long term plan than charging, but they will also have the problem of breaking. There’s no way around maintenance.

Waiting to start charging and the charge time being 30 minutes or higher (to get to 80%, let alone 100%), is not the same as waiting for a free pump (when it takes 5-10 minutes to fill up to a 100% full tank). For my commute, I drive almost 2 hours total, 3 times a week, in heavy volume/high traffic areas and I can

The maps can fill up with SAE level 3 or whatever chargers, but the real world reliability of the charging infrastructure (not just the vehicles themselves) doesn’t improve, that’s going to be a big problem. I’ve recently begun doing research for cars, EVs being in that mix, and the articles and reviews I see from

The strongholds, while not a cakewalk, are definitely doable solo on Story and Normal difficulty. Anything higher will probably require at least 1 other random player the first few times.

I hardly ever see Hyundai’s or Kia’s on the road in a visible failure state, and I see like 10 cars on the side of the road a day, 5 days a week.

Unluckily (or stupidly) he’s in a sport where people are paid to punch, kick, and elbow him in the face.

Yes, because this is the party with members who “boycotted” Starbucks by buying beverages so they could “force” the employees to write “Trump” on them. I don’t think this place has to worry.

Drugging the kids was certainly not for the kids “benefit”.  It was so they could be easily controlled.

Yes, it was a set-up shot, not spontaneous.  Devonte’s captors (I refuse to call them his parents) forced him to hug the cop.  In fact, he was forced to give out hugs to many people that day all for photo ops.

If the surgery is poorly done (a very low chance of that with the resources the Yankees have at their disposal) and a rushed recovery (which is more likely), then yeah, it end up in a permanent reduction of his skills, but I doubt this will happen. As much as they Yankees want to win now, why risk a young star,

Why?
