The incentives are a sham.  There are a lot of variables.  It’s not just do this many rides and reach this level.  You have to take unprofitable rides, be terrified if someone doesn’t show up and you have to cancel, and then there’s the nightly praying that someone wasn’t in a bad mood and gave you 4* taking your…

Real thinker.  

Not losing.  Pouring it into automation.  The only way they can become profitable.  No drivers.  They’ve been saying it since the start.  

It’s being poured into R&D for automation.  Travis was never shy about saying the company would never be profitable until drivers were out of the picture.  Not sure why no one believed him.  

Just kidding, they got tired of trying to hide their contempt for the workers again. Slashed pay, hiding addresses, tip “bugs” are back. The CEO not only conditions customers to tip less, he doesn’t even tip a dime on his own orders. Trash company, hope it’s the first of big gigs to die.
