I hate it. I watched for 7 hours in a row. Terrible.

None of these ‘highlights’ even mattered to MOST gamers. This is just served up bullshit. So many other highlights can be brought to light beyond these. This just sounds like a big marketing campaign.

i agree about fire emblem. the graphics are great, and the characters were really interesting and well done, but the pacing felt so very awkward. yes, you can “rest” and move events forward, but additional teaching and exploring systems felt overdone, yet too important for your army’s effectiveness to avoid them fully.

A. The only thing worse than autoplay is autoplay with sound. I know I’m speaking to the choir, but seriously. Fuck autoplay.

Part of the holiday fun is giving fun gifts. When you give someone something they want, but wouldn’t buy for themselves, it’s more enjoyable. A gift card to a store someone likes, but can’t afford to shop at (or that sells “wants” rather than “needs”) gives them the ability to buy a fun gift, rather than just deposit…

This is a pretty good list. I’m not quite sure why Watchdogs 2 is on there, though. That game seemed to be pretty widely liked. Nothing revolutionary, but way better and more fun than expected.

Seconded on Sleeping Dogs.  I must have played through that game half a dozen times since it released.  I’d go so far as to say Sleeping Dogs is the best Grand Theft Auto game.

Eh lot of these games were just meh and deserved the reception they got.

I think this is going to be impossible to enjoy unless you’ve already played Shenmue and Shenmue 2 - in which case you already know what you’re in for.

Have you tried playing original GB games on original hardware? Those screens haven’t aged well. There’s a LOT of great features plus a quality screen that makes this a great price at $200. 

Seems like a god awful situation. Seems like a no-buy, unless you want to use a totally different account. I only have one so no issues for me now, but the kid may want one for xmas.

C’mon, man. I mean, you’re talking about the broadcast of a football game, not Outside the Lines or even SportsCenter. The sole purpose of the broadcast is to talk about the game that is on the field in front of them, not the ongoing transgressions of Antonio Brown.

The more I see of this game the more I think Kojima having someone over his shoulder to check his worst excesses was a good thing.

Exactly. With Hideo Kojima’s name on it, no way this game isn’t gonna sell, it will.

This makes the game seem like a convoluted mess, filled to the brim with awkward symbolism and half-baked ideas worthy of a college freshman.

It’s a bad character trait to not be able to admit error.
