According to the internet, Kojima games do deliver some kind of out of body experience that I’m somehow not getting, so this review makes sense.

Yeah this is actually a general statement not aimed directly at Death Stranding but the “you can connect with others!” feature shouldn’t automatically be viewed as a feature everyone will love. God forbid I’m not connected to anyone else for a little while.
Two games that I’ve made arguments for being among the most overrated video games of all time, so yeah. I have no qualms about believing this to look boring.
I have to watch the demo but I was going to just make a blind purchase here, yet based on this article I think it simply sounds terrible. Does anyone actually like being burdened by items? There’s always been a joke about how Snake carries huge weapons in his pockets, but no one ever made that joke and followed it up…
At this point, can anything really be gleaned from a new version of Monopoly coming out? Oversaturated, forced, hackneyed versions of Monopoly are like the original Funko Pops as far as gluttonous manufacturing goes.
Are these comments from 2009? I thought the “Monopoly actually sucks” hot take was as firmly ingrained in the internet as “Return of the Jedi is horrible because Ewoks or something”. The former is true and the latter nonsense, but regardless.
Yes, pretty much what I wrote in my post. Fans yearn for analytics to be accurate. It’s such a weird obsession. If the analytics were ever THAT good, those people would probably just stop watching. Sometimes I think fans love analytics mostly because it saves from actually having to watch a lot of games.....
I don’t think sports fans who clamor for analytics understand the dangerous game they’re playing here. You know what happens if sports become more or less predictable? Everyone stops watching sports and some or all of them simply die out, at least from a fan perspective. In this hypothetical future, why would you…
No one should argue your overall point, but you understand that at least 1/3 of those are nonsense right?
I missed Demon’s Crest was going to be here. Beats having to find a $75 cart in someone’s garage.
Seems like someone read the first paragraph then crapped out a title for the article.
You’re gradually changing the subject. People’s contention is with your assertion that Gygax, Stan Lee, and I would presume you would even say Steve Jobs, as “mediocre and not terribly creative”. It’s a downright laughable assertion.
Do they know that complaining about video games is a gamer’s favorite hobby?
I just don’t think the Switch lends itself well to these special editions. They all have unique but unspectacular Joycons and a vague design on the dock, which no one sees or pays attention to anyways.
The dock scratching was a thing for about 10 legit cases and a bunch of people that don’t take care of their shit. You’re in the vast minority.
A lot of people here skewing towards the negative and really showing their true colors (i.e., just wanna complain).
For all this sound and fury, I’m betting it goes on pretty much exactly like this.
Nice McDonald’s kicks!
Going by the current rate, so that’d be $100 for a new pair of Joycons if they did bring this over ($50 apiece separate as of now)? Steep.
Is like to get those but have no idea how to buy them while on the site. Will have to try again at home when I can really sit down and figure out their site. Even with Google translate I’m lost.
