But we still act surprised for some reason. I thought Watch Dogs had to the straw that broke the camel’s back. That came came out almost 4 years ago, and we still go through this every......single......time.

Yes let’s discuss what “real gaming” is. Seems like a healthy topic to debate.
25% off a Nintendo game is like 50% off any other game!

I’ve defended Microsoft a lot of times for sure, but the exclusive thing has been beyond any defense whatsoever for a couple of years. When people mention Halo and Gears I almost think they’re just being kind to Microsoft. Halo hasn’t been anything special for a couple of games now, and Gears is a solid franchise but…
Just bring back SENTUAMESSAGE
In my opinion, the key to online dating is putting your best self forward while being supremely honest. I think a lot of people come off as unimpressive in their online dating profiles because they’re afraid of someone not liking what they see. The truth is that you were never going to make connections with those…
Love Suda’s quirks, but anyone watching the evolution of this game with honesty had to have known this wouldn’t quite shape up. When Suda took the stage right before the Switch was announced, he didn’t even have a concept of what the game would be. When trailers/gameplay were available, the gameplay looked like an…
Right there with you. The bloated.....well, everything......in that game just mystifies me. Glad people had fun with it, but it almost ruined my love for the first game.
Same here. I played through it with a smile on my face, but it’s basically an updated version of Arkham City but with Spider-Man. Incredibly well done, but it felt too unoriginal in some ways, and there’s a decent amount of fluff in the quests.
It’s just like listening to the radio except you have thousands of choices and pick exactly what you want.
This was basically my comment below but you were able to be much more diplomatic haha.
I’m far from Mr. Corporate Defender, but I’m not going to blame a company for some fan sinking into depression over a commercial product or sending death threats, simply because that company thought it’d be a good idea to foster an online community.
Absolutely. Every conversation is either a negative pile on or a circle jerk.
It’s a really weird time to be a big gamer who also understands that there’s more to life and that, well, these are just video games, people. Like I get the reactions people have to stuff like the Fallout nylon bag or Diablo mobile, but the sheer tidal wave of continuous outrage over shit like that is totally lost on…
So you save $100 by them simply not including a dock, or am I forgetting something? I don’t know how much the Japanese “no dock” bundle costs, but I don’t see this scenario happening. Unless it’s some weird reverse psychology where they get people to buy without the dock then tempt them to pay the ridiculous $90…
Absolutely agree on those prices, and the “Nintendo tax” for third party games that came out on other platforms years ago is also a pain in the ass. It’s really difficult to pay $15 for a game from 2015 when it’s constantly on sale for 50% off on PC.
As a Switch owner who doesn’t have a lot of nostalgic attachment to Nintendo, the system has its pros and cons. The first party titles are fun, the portability lets me play games while still being present (lol), and it’s my first choice to buy third party games if all things are equal, like price and visuals.
