When exactly did the government mandate the killing of small hatchbacks and sedans?
When exactly did the government mandate the killing of small hatchbacks and sedans?
You bring up a good point. BUT. Counterpoint. The design of the 911 is so influential and ubiquitous that it had the opposite effect on other carmakers wanting to copy it. If any other car maker tried to implement this particular shape regardless of engine placement, they’d be called out for trying to copy the 911.…
The 911. It’s the benchmark for sportscars and supercars even today.
Unsurprisingly, the list is exclusively comprised of full sized pickups and SUVs. Who could have seent this coming?
A one time $225 is definitely cheaper than getting your insurance premium being raised by 10-20% for the next 3-5 years. I likely would have accepted the double parking charge instead and moved on with my day. But knowing me, I would have hired a lawyer instead so I wouldn’t have to show up to court myself.
They’re doing MA residents a favor so they don’t self incriminate. I’d rather have short interactions with cops rather than long ones with them trying to be friendly and linger longer than they should during traffic stops.
Cops are people and they’re prone to mood swings and emotion. It’s best to just give them your license and insurance, shut up, not admit guilt, and move on. When you get home, hire a lawyer and let him take care of it. Being nice and admitting guilt only to get a ticket anyway makes that lawyer’s job harder, especially…
Radar Detectors are so much better than they were decades ago. When I see Ka band going off, I will see a cop soon enough. The only false alerts I get are from bank auto sliding doors, and I can flag that on my RD so that it doesn’t go off when I drive through that location(or locations) again. My RD has gotten me out…
Shut up, don’t admit guilt, and then hire a lawyer. Get it downgraded to a non-moving violation, pay the fines and fees, and move on with life.
This I can get behind. The C8 would look so much better with less angles.
Bruh. That looks like a futuristic bar of soap. The Zonda as it is has no bad angles.
It looks like the new BMW 5 Series but in wagon form.
I’m gonna miss the trio, but shows like this shouldn’t end because the trio decided to retire. As far as I’m concerned, the more high quality and high production value car content, the better. I just hope they find good hosts.
Strayed from the formula? I don’t think so. The 911 and Cayman/Boxster are STILL being sold. Straying from the formula means they kill them off completely. They’re a car manufacturer and a business. And they had to turn a profit to stay afloat to continue the formula. They needed the Cayenne and then subsequent Macan…
Porsche.
I’ve continuously owned a Mazda for almost a decade now. They’re my favorite ‘regular’ car maker.
Good to know. These are the least expensive Ferraris anyone can buy. If most of the maintenance doesn’t require the engine being dropped, I can see myself buying one just as a classic car to roll around in on weekends.
I think it’s a nice price for the initial purchase. BUT it’s an old Ferrari and there’s a lot of engine out work for basic maintenance and upkeep. If one never plans on driving it, then that’s a non-issue. But if it’s driven with any regularity, double that price tag for future maintenance and upkeep. Still, I think…
This is the way.
