Nah. When I stop to refuel, I top off. 15 minutes is not enough to top off any EV. If you’re fine with fast charging 15 minutes at a time for an hour of driving, good for you. I am not okay with frequently visiting charging stations, and neither are millions of drivers. I fill up once every week or week and a half.

I bet that so many used Hyundais and Kias are going to flood the used car market in the future that Hyundais and Kias are going to be the next Nissan Altima. Which I guess effectively turns back the hands of time for them as far as their reputation goes. Time is cyclical.

I love driving through rural backroads. Rednecks aren’t going to stop me from doing so. But I’d prefer to spend my rural country road time driving rather than waiting for my theoretical EV to charge while I get weird looks from the locals. The less time I spend stationary, the better.

So Carvana has raised their buy offers since their last quarterly earnings report showed that they were turning a profit. I sold my Veloster N for $1000 less than MSRP when I bought it a year and a half ago.

Yea, no. I’m not hanging out in the restroom for close to an hour. And I don’t want just 80%. I want 100%. I’m not a broke 20-something anymore, so I always fill my gas tank up to full.

I live in the Midwest and have driven through Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, and other surrounding states. You’d be surprised at where a Tesla charging station is installed. I’ve seen them at medium to large sized gas stations, fast food places, main streets, parking lots of parks, etc. As much

That’s still 10 minutes too long. It’s going to be hard to convince masses people to accept more inconvenience.

Nah. A lot of gas/charging stations are in rural areas(aka MAGA country) and I’m not white. The combination of dorky looking EV, plus Hispanic looking Asian dude(me), and an hour of lingering means I’m generally not welcome in the most remote of areas that these people still reside in. And that’s assuming that some

Convenience. I can’t charge 10% battery to 100% in less than 5 minutes. Having to plan road trips around charging stations. I don’t like to linger. I pump gas, take a piss and/or shit, buy snacks, and get back on the road.

Chill bro. Porsche engineers also spent millions of hours trying to make the rear engined 911 as good as it is, when they could just put the engine in the middle and call it a day. Which is exactly what they did for their RSR racecar. So even Porsche knows they’ve been polishing rear engined turds for decades.

No. BMW’s designs are no doubt, very bold and striking. But I think they’re ugly and would never want to own one, ever.

Dealing with Subaru drivers in the mountains of Colorado really cemented my disdain for the brand.

Kansas City - Nissans and Infinitis with expired temp tags, missing front and rear bumpers, and irreparable body damage.

Looks like a Sentra.

Except that a 5 Series has never looked like an Altima/Sentra until now.

Jeez it looks so frumpy and generic. It looks tall, narrow, and bubbly rather than long, wide, low, and sleek. From the front, it looks straight up like a CUV.

I assume that this is on top of whatever insurance paid out.

Pastor and car dealer owner. The doublest of whammies.

Jeep driver’s hubris in yelling racial slurs while driving in Oakland(out of all places) is pure stupidity. Had he come across the wrong(or rather, right) people, he would have been filled with holes, and then crashed.
