I see the new ‘Integra’ is going back to its roots of heavy cosmetic modification with minimal engine mods. Just like the good old days.

That would be sweet! Though I’m worried that there will no longer be a manual. It would make more sense to make the hybrid turbo as a Supra, and just the I3 turbo for a regular GR86 due to how much more a performance hybrid would cost to make. On the plus side, Toyota wouldn’t have to use self-destructing Subaru

I wasn’t alive when the 240Z first released, but did the 240Z also suck in excess RTV sealant from its oil pickup line?

Having driven both a stock VN and EN on track, I can confidently say that the EN has more power than the VN(and it’s obvious on straights) and more refined power delivery, but the VN is dynamically the better car on the track. It’s lighter, physically smaller, and stiffer. The FK8 is faster than both, but can’t keep

I wasn’t trying to counter his position. I was just trying to explain that for a certain subset of people, these kinds of cars are in fact, very fun despite being heavily compromised. I like track ready cars because while they’re expensive, the amount of prep work to go fast and be reliable is much less than a

I’m cool with that. I want a fun AWD daily that I can also take rallycrossing. I, too, was wanting it to be better than what it is. But I’ve accepted that it’s not what we thought it was.

I have a lot of fun on going as fast as I, and my car, are capable of on track. Any track. That stuff is absolutely, positively, the funnest things to me. And track day regulars feel the same way. Fast is fun. Trying to optimize my driving line is fun. Approaching the limits of my car is fun. Solving the problem of

Toe angle has a much larger effect than camber when it comes to tire wear. Let’s put this ‘negative camber will wear your tires out faster’ nonsense to rest.

A shame they toned down the manic-ness of the new CTR. You can have subdued looks and a more raw driving experience. And in a car like this, I feel that it SHOULD be manic as all hell. It’s a damn Type R. I’m apprehensive that Honda fixed the cooling issues of the FK8 with this new one, but time will tell. Cooling

It truly is the end of an era isn’t it?

Any car with legitimate snow tires.

The local Honda dealers here have been selling ‘used’ 2022 Civic LXs with 500 miles for like $29K. ‘Used’ 2022 Civic Sport hatches are listed for $32-$34K. ‘Used’ 2022 SIs, they’re selling for $36-37K. The new CTR is going to be predictably expensive already, but I imagine that these scummy, shitbag, greedy dealers

Nissan had so many damn variants of their own cars in the 90s that it was easy to believe that every videogame Nissan back in those days existed.

Right? AR has an overabundance of literal abandoned ghost towns taken out of a horror movie. I rode my motorcycle just around the surrounding area of Eureka Springs and stumbled upon 2 of them. One can make a slideshow on AR’s ghost towns alone.

You’re definitely right. I’ve been known to be the ‘all-business’ type of person. Most of my MTB/dirt bike rides are solo because I hate stopping at every intersection to shoot the shit for 30 mins.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound like a dick or anything. I still don’t understand why people are drawn to them. Then again, I assume that many people wonder why so many others are drawn to Miatas. I’m not much of an off-roader on automobiles. I went rock crawling with my friends to own Jeeps and I found it boring.

I borrowed a friend’s older model, mechanically sound, manual 2 door Wrangler with the vinyl roof and doors for a few days. It was a terrible experience, and easily one of the worst vehicles I have ever driven. I’d rather drive a beat up shitbox Nissan Altima.

DC2 Integra Type R. Ideally stock, and around a track. And in the late 90s.

This is hideous. If the headlights, tail lights, and grille had squared off angles and were rectangular, the blocky front and rear bumpers could have worked. But it looks like it was designed by opposing design teams that both equally hate BMW and their costumers.
