I have a Veloster N now. But I’m also #4 on the deposit list for the GR Corolla. And I’m also considering the MT Supra. Or I could just saying fuck it and get a 718 T or GTS or GT4. Or buy a low mileage import JDM hero car. I’d be happy with any of these as my forever ICE MT sportscar.

With the crazy prices for USDM Japanese 80s and 90s sportscars, it might be better to just buy an import from Japan. It’d cost the same. I’m seriously considering buying an R32 GTR or JDM Integra Type R. So many JDM cars are past the 25 year import rule now.

Now is the time to seriously look at buying a ‘forever manual sportscar’. Because new manual sportscars are dying. And used manual sportscars in good condition are going to appreciate in value.

I didn’t like the Caliber, but there was no denying that the Caliber SRT-4 was a rocket, and deserved better.

I dunno man. This car definitely deserved the shade it got. Ford COULD have done those things, but chose not to. This car had no redeeming qualities.

A90 Supra.

Many dealers are proud of their markups. Shit’s displayed in large hand-written numbers. But adding dealer installed accessories you don’t even want is still a thinly veiled ADM, no matter how they do it. Now dealers just feel justified that they’re giving you “something” instead of outright taking your money with

Sorry, I sometimes get my specific gasses unnecessarily going in to tires mixed up.

They’re repeatedly trying to touch my butt. Or wallet which rests on my butt. Either way, it’s uncomfortable.

Those drivers get a free turn signal subscription, but don’t use it.

Oh MY take is shitty? Well congratu-fucking-lations for setting the example dealers should adhere to. But you’re living in your own little bubble. Considering that even NON CAR PEOPLE fucking hate what dealers have become recently, my take is the least shitty, and justifiable. It’s what everyone wants to say aloud.

That wouldn’t be awesome at all. That’s just wasteful, as those resources could be used elsewhere.

72 months at 3%? What fantasy land is this? I have co-workers who recently(within the last 2 years) bought expensive full size trucks with an 84 month loan at 5-6% interest. The worst offender I know of was someone who bought a $60k Nissan Titan at 84 months at 9% interest. He thought he got a good deal. And this was

This is why we’re going to continue to have chip shortages. 90000 individual options are bad enough. Imagine the majority of their cars being made fully optioned out, but the majority of buyers not opting to subscribe to a large number of paywalled options. All that equipment going to waste because the consumer didn’t

Consumers are finally getting the hint and reacting. Recession is going to fuck dealerships and I can’t wait.

I’ve never owned any outright bad cars. Most of the cars I’ve owned were sportscars or hot hatches. Here’s a quick list. 2000 Nissan Altima SE, 2007 Nissan B16 Sentra SE-R spec V, 2004 Mazdaspeed MX5, 2011 Nissan Frontier V6 4x4, 2013 Mazda MX5 NC2.5, 2014 Subaru BRZ, 2016 Mazda MX5 NC1, 2017 Ford Focus ST, 2018 Alfa

I hope Porsche stays private. I have a feeling that if they go public, what attainable cars they make like the 718(and its successor) would no longer be attainable in the future for even middle class people. It appears to me that the Middle Eastern firms wants to push Porsche even more upmarket to directly compete

Nah, it’s not even a wagon.

So Nissan took up the torch and made one themselves.
